How are your quotes created?
Get in touch by phone or email to get the process started. For smaller, straightforward jobs, we may be able to provide a quote over the phone. For most projects, one of our team members will visit your property to take measurements and assess the scope of work in person. From there, we’ll put together a written, no-obligation quote that clearly outlines what’s included, with no surprises.
What areas do you serve?
We work primarily in Calgary and the surrounding area. But if you’re unsure whether or not your home is within our service area, please don’t hesitate to give us a call at (403) 291-3093, and we’ll let you know if we can help with your project.
How long will my project take?
It depends on the scope of work, but most jobs move quickly. A typical eavestrough installation takes about 3 days from quote to completion. Vinyl or Hardie board siding on an average home runs about a week. We source all our materials locally, so there are no manufacturer delays. We show up on the scheduled date with everything we need.
Do you offer warranties?
Yes. Every Big 5 installation comes with our 5-year installation warranty, which guarantees the quality of our work. Depending on the product, you’ll also receive a manufacturer’s materials warranty, which can range from 25 years on siding to a lifetime warranty on Alu-Rex leaf guards.
Are your installers licensed, bonded, & insured?
Yes, our entire team is carrying all appropriate licensing and commercial insurance.
What are your safety procedures?
We have had tragic first-hand experiences that have ingrained in us the importance of site safety, situational awareness, and personal protection. A high-level, we:
- Assess and control the job site as much as possible prior to any work beginning
- Ensure any hazards, such as power lines, extension cords, etc. are identified and planned for
- Plan our approach with safety in mind
- Use appropriate scaffolding, harnesses, and safety straps when the situations warrant it.
- Do not work in moderate-high winds
- Do not work in rain or active snowfalls
We always operate in accordance with Alberta’s building does and safety laws.
The safety of our crew and your home/business is the most important thing for us. If you have specific safety concerns or requirements, please let us know so we can ensure our teams comply with your requirements.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, we work with a third-party financing company and can arrange for 1, 2, or 3-year financing terms. Please contact us for more details.

Do you dispose of old eavestrough, shingles, siding, etc.?
Yes, our team will ensure proper disposal of any waste materials, including old material removed from your home.
Where appropriate, plastics and metals are recycled. We do our best to divert as much waste from the landfills as possible.
